Why go green?

Indoor air is three times more polluted than outdoor air, and according to the EPA, is considered to be one of the top 5 hazards to human health. Paints and finishes are among the leading causes. Paints and finishes release low level toxic emissions into the air for years after application. The source of these toxins is a variey of VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) which, until recently, were essential to the performance of the paint.

Alot of painters refuse to use these new products and talk them down alot. This is because these "eco paints" are actually different products and need different techniques to apply them. We have tried many different ways to get the highest quality finish and we have now perfected it. It has been alot of hard work to learn how to use it properly, but it is definitly well worth it in the fact that we can work in a significantly less harmfull environment and also offer you the option to redecorate without poisoning yourself at the same time.

The benefites of using low VOC are:

Health:  Reduced toxins benefit everyone, including those with allergies and chemical sensitivities.

Environment:  Reduces landfill, groundwater and ozone depleting contaminants.

Effective:  Low-VOC products perform well in terms of coverage, scrubability and hideability (covering flaws on previous coats)

Water-Based:  Easy cleanup wtih soap and warm water.
